Fantastic Orchestra

As i said before, I watched Orchestra on April 26th. Acutally, it was my 3rd time to watch Orchestra but

since i saw the first one and second one when i was young, i was really looking forward to watch it.

And if i say one more reason why i was so expected to see Orchestra, i was meeting my friend for about 1 year!

Time flies really fast! 

 We greet each other when we met at 아람누리 located in 정발산 station in Ilsan,  and entered the audience room. With the Orchestra went in , The light finally went out and the music was started.we were buoyant with expectations. This time, the theme of Orchestra was comparison between a great masters , Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Joseph Haydn in classic school. The Orchestra has 3 performance , first one deals all about Mozart and second with Haydn and Last one with Both of them. And i watched the first performance, Mozart.

To give brief story about them, (i bought a brochures :D)  both of them was vienna classic school. And mostly viennese school is name used to refer to three composers of the claasical period in western art music late 18th centry Vieenna : Wolfgang amadeus Mozart, Joseph haydn and Ludwig van Beethoven.

we cannot know the whole truth but these composers certainly knew each other and it was new information for me that Beethoven for a time received lessons from Haydn!

 But since the theme was Mozart on 26th , i heard 3

piece of music which is composed by mozart,  Overture from Opera , Piano Concerto No.21 in C Major K.467 and Symphony No.40 in g minor K.550. Everyone will nod their head and say 'Ah~'

if they heard the songs because they are all famous!

The performance was fantastic with no doubt and i especially impressed with Piano solo  The Turkish march  played by the pianist 손열음 because it was the only music that i can play with. But she was so great that i feel and think like "oh, may be i was playing different song"  It was really excellent night and i fell in love with Orchestra. And at that night, i thought that

the real star to Orchestra was not violin nor the Piano solo but the commnander, the center of the Orchestra and

the whole master to all piece of music. Every member of Orchestra depend on him watching his movement and played through his slight gesture. And i fall asleep thinking that i will visit again to listen Haydn :)

Nam san

 

Having a friend

Goooooooood afternoon everyone, Again it’s Thursday!

 Today I woke up early in the morning and went Nam-san tower which is located in the 262-meter peak in the Jung-gu district of south central Seoul, South Korea. Sometime I visit mountains because the fresh air they give makes me feel comfortable. Today it was perfect day to visit Nam-san: the sun shines beautifully and the bird twittering. There I met my best friend JI-sung. She and I talked about recent busy days and some trivial things walking around the Nam-san tower and ate lunch together. It was so funny that after we finished our chat it spent almost 2 hours!! We were shocked but talk was continued for the last minute we went to home separately. Hehe :)

With her, there may be so many stories and happy moments but the most memorable experience was our trip to ski world. Before our graduation we have too many hours, even we stressed out for plentiful spare times so we set our plans to trip Gang won-do. It was our first trip without our parents so we were so excited to think of our trip. We went there for 2days 1 night, so we need to check lots of things like hotel to stay and clothes to wear. But fortunately we can ride free bus offered by the ski world. Thanks to our grand plan, we can spend our time efficiently. We skied till the late afternoon and after dinner we enjoyed the nights watching movies, singing and covering pack on our masks. As a result the next morning we were so exhausted and the face become swollen for the pizza we ordered late at nights. So we changed our plan to visit ocean world and enjoyed the spa. I am sure that we spent most exciting 2 days 1night than any other persons at ski world.

 I think friends are vitamins to  me. They make me energetic since we can laugh together for the happy things and share the happy memories.  In my opinion, just the word ‘Friends’ makes my life sweet. And becoming older and older I realize that friends are important part of my life and thank to them.

  

Life as a freshman

I was high school students just about 3 month ago. Recalling my high school years, I have so many happy memories that I want to keep forever. We all studied late at night when I am in the graduate students in high school years. And I sometimes laugh with my memory that we were scolded from our teacher because of the snacks that we ate behind the teacher secretly at classrooms and now I miss them.

 Actually I still can’t believe that I am a college student so sometimes I’m freaked out when I wake up at 12’o clock in the afternoon because if I am in high school I missed almost 4 classes but after realizing that I am college girl i say ‘Hweuu….’ and then relieve myself.

When I am in high school, I expect the college that is full of meetings and trip with friends or may be the exciting dorm life like Korean popular sitcom “non-stop”. And above all I expected the round seated classrooms like National Assembly Buildings in Yeouido. And now? My life as a freshman is not so much different from my high school years. But that doesn’t mean I am disappointed but it is quite different from my expectation.

 One of the big differences from my high school years is that I have to choose what class I will be in and there’re so many classes that I can choose. And I was proud of myself that I succeeded to choose almost every class that I wanted, watching a friend who wanted to cry because she could not pick any class that she wanted. I thanked to my super fast computer. Actually it was too tight for us to register the class because the informed date to register our class was the day we were back from the orientation of our Univ. And I still can’t get used to ride a morning subway. For example, A few days ago, the day of horrible subway at its height, I rode a subway as always did and there were already too many people so I went to a school with smelling the other person’s hair, almost floating in the air. It drives me crazy and it was so hard day for me that I don’t even want to remind that day.

Still there are so many things to adapt including the location of the school but I have lots of plans to do in my freshman year. On the whole, I want to spend my first year outside as much as possible. I want to enjoy the things that can be done only when I’m in the university. For example, I want to go abroad with friends or families which can broaden my perspectives and relationships. Also I want to go to the concerts or the exhibitions of art. I already have plans to go orchestra with my friends on March 26^th. But I have clear objective of my freshman years which is to improve my english skills so that I can get high scores on TOEFL test. i hope every things to be go well :)
